Baker’s Biscuits is something we grew up eating. I don’t ever remember not having a packet of Baker’s Biscuits in our home.
Easy Romany Creams with Chocolate Mousse
Yes you heard right, it takes only 4 ingredients. It will be the most decadent dessert you will eat. Far too decadent too eat more than one serving I would say and I think my servings where a little on the large side. Next time I think I will have to make them smaller.
Ingredients Required
Of course, you need those Romany Creams Biscuit, fresh cream, chocolate and cocoa. As I said before the thought of raw eggs in my mousse doesn’t appeal to me much. Therefore I used fresh cream, chocolate and cocoa to make my mousse. The texture is still perfectly mousse like and delicious too.
How to make the dessert
For this Romany Creams with Chocolate Mousse dessert you will need to whip the cream into soft peaks. I then melted the chocolate and allowed it to cool, just a little. Add the chocolate and cocoa to the whipped cream. Whip a little more until the chocolate and cocoa is combined with the cream. It will be slightly stiff but be careful not to over mix. I used my electic mixer and it worked fine without any hassles.
Serving
I divided my mousse into 4 little glasses with a layer of crushed Romany Cream Biscuits in between. You can create more layers if you wish. I felt the portions were a little large as this is quite a rich dessert. It’s best to serve cold so if you’re not serving it immediately I suggest you refrigerate it until serving time. You can decorate them with some Raspberries but this is totally optional. I hope you love this recipe as much as we did. If you do try it please drop me a comment and a star rating, it is always appreciated.
